It gives students access any time any where. I'm wondering, though, if the web-based classes are developed in such a way so as to be accessible to students who interface with the computer using assistive technology (e.g., screen readers) or if streamed audio or video is captioned for students with little or no hearing. It would be a shame to exclude these students simply because the technology was not developed to be accessible.
